Peg Solvent R150

A clear, colourless, liquid with a high aromatic content and a relatively low volatility. High flash point makes it suitable for use as a solvent carrier. Peg Solvent 150 Common Uses

- Used in the manufacture of both screen and lithographic printing inks.
- Insecticides.
- Paints & Resins
- Peg 150 is a ‘retarder’ of the highest solvent power and promotes secondary flow in high-gloss baking enamels and similar products. Its slow evaporation rate causes a levelling out of the components in resinous coatings which gives a glass like finish.
- Also used in force dried paints and as a solvent carrier in chlorinated rubber and swimming pool paints.
