Maximum heat output

Gum is a dense, slow-burning hardwood that delivers maximum heat output. Ideal for both log burners and open fireplaces, it provides consistent warmth throughout the night when loaded onto a well-established fire. Gum takes time to ignite, but once burning, it acts like a hot coal for long-lasting, efficient heat.

Gum absorbs moisture easily — store in a dry, covered, and ventilated area, especially during wet seasons. Helpful Tips:

Best mixed with soft or medium woods to create a hot base
Heavy and easy to identify by smooth, paper-like ends
Avoid leaving on driveways — Gum resin may stain concrete or pavers
