- 3.00mm (UK 11) crochet hook, or size needed to give correct tension
- Wool needle for sewing in ends Tension

23 tr and 12 rows to 10cm over treble fabric using 3.00mm hook.

To work a tension square: using 3.00mm hook, make 36ch.

- Row 1: Miss 3ch, 1tr in each ch to end — 34tr, counting turning ch as 1tr.
- Row 2: (1dc, 1ch) in first tr, 1tr in each st to end.
- Rep last row until work measures 15cm. Fasten off.

Check your tension carefully — if fewer sts to 10cm use a smaller hook; if more sts use a larger hook.
