Louise Dubois 1855 Chardonnay 2023
GOLD MEDAL: Best Vlaue Selections - Anivin de France
91 POINTS & 4.5 STARS: Sam Kim; The Wine Orbit
"It's elegantly fragrant on the nose, showing white flesh peach, rockmelon, nougat, and oatmeal nuances. The palate delivers fine texture and rounded mouthfeel, is well supported by beautifully infused tannins, and finishes smooth and stylish. At its best: now to 2027."
- Sam Kim
Burgundy is known as the spiritual home of both Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, as some of the world's most exciting, historical and complex wines from these varieties come from there. This is a great everyday example - rich, fresh and very moreish. Filled with flavours of white peach, tangerine and lemon curd, it's beautifully balanced - rich but fresh. Great stuff.
