TASTING NOTES
vintage is concentrated notes of black doris plum and dark red fruits combine with a complementary savouriness building layers of complexity into the wine. Structural, fine grained tannins provide lovely weight and backbone which is framed with bright natural acidity and well integrated french oak.

BRAND INFORMATION
Amisfield was established in 1988 and is a Central Otago based specialist producer of Pinot Noir and aromatic white wines, grown and produced on their single vineyard estate, situated beneath the glacially sculpted Pisa mountain range. All 92ha of Amisfield’s vineyard is certified organic by BioGro New Zealand and viticulture is managed holistically with a focus on nurturing soils, vines and habitats – this, combined with a rugged inland location and an extreme semi-continental climate yields wines of remarkable purity, intensity and vibrancy. A state-of-the-art, purpose-built winery is the focal point of the vineyard and is designed to enable winemakers to craft wines minimal intervention and as naturally as possible.
