Owl Necklace

In Greek mythology, Athena, the goddess of wisdom, handicraft and warfare had the owl as her sacred animal. If an owl is spotted by someone during a battle, it would mean the goddess of war is on their side and they are poised for victory.

The owl symbolises wisdom and death in several cultures. The Native Americans believed that the owl is a guardian of sacred knowledge like the patterns of the weather and the secret of the afterlife. The Celtics thought that the wisdom of the owl warrior gave it the right to the knowledge of the underworld's path.

In Hinduism, the owl symbolises wealth, prosperity, wisdom, good luck and fortune. It is associated with goddess Lakshmi, who is the goddess of the fortune, wealth and prosperity.
