Deer Necklace

The deer represents gentleness, kindness and grace in many cultures. In Celtic mythology, male and female deer are referred to by their Gaelic names 'damh' and 'eilid' respectively.

The damh is considered king of the forest and is a symbol of pride, purification and independence. The eilid escorted people to the fairy kingdom and symbolised femininity, grace and gentleness.
