Manuka Earrings
Leptospersmum scoparium, commonly called manuka, is a species of flowering plant in the myrtle family Myrtaceae, native to south-east Australia and New Zealand (including the Chatham Islands).
Manuka honey is recognised as a valuable food and health item. Maoris have used the leaves for medicine.
Manuka flowers smell very sweet and they provide an important source of pollen and nectar for native bees, flies, moths, beetles and geckos.
