Key Features
We are conscious of changing user requirements and the need for long term sustainability in our products. The ability to adjust, replace and reuse, along with clinical features, has been at the core of the design.
The comes as standard with:
- A choice of 2 adjustable and interchangeable postural support back cushions
- A choice of 4 removable and interchangeable pressure management seat cushions
- Height, depth, and angle adjustable headrest
- Seat depth and width adjustment
- Arm height adjustment
- Height and angle adjustable footplate
The benefits from a number of easily adjustable settings and cushion options to enable it to be configured correctly by the care team for different, and changing, user clinical and comfort needs. Mechanisms
The comes in either an electric or manual model. The features are the same for both models except that the electric model comes with a handset that will operate the main movements of the chair which are the Independent Tilt in Space, Backrest Recline and Leg Rest adjustments. All other adjustments/movements are operated manually on both models.
Both models come with:
- Independently operated Tilt in Space (manual or electric operation)
- Independently operated Backrest Recline (manual or electric operation)
- Independently operated Leg Rest (manual or electric operation) Tool-Free Adjustments
The features an adjustable head rest, seat depth, seat width, arm height and footplate as standard. All of these adjustments can be made by the care staff completely tool-free.
With these measurements able to be changed within seconds, the can be altered for the next client easily and quickly, making it convenient for care environments.
Adjustments made to the headrest will require the use of an Allen key, which is provided upon purchase of the chair.
Pressure Management Back Cushions
There is a choice of two interchangeable and adjustable pressure management back cushions that enable the chair to be adapted to a single user’s changing needs or to adapt the chair to another user. This ensures greater longevity of its usage.
In addition, all cushions can be repositioned to suit a user’s individual seating preferences. Covers can also be removed for cleaning.
Pressure Management Seat Cushions
There is a choice of four interchangeable seat cushions each with different pressure management features. You can purchase one or more cushions to support the different needs of individuals who may use this chair.
Cushions and covers are removable for cleaning and replacement.
Wing Handles And Back Handles
The designed to be extremely easy to push and manoeuvre. Whilst the comes with ergonomic back handles to guide the chair whilst the client is in an upright position, it also comes with additional easy-to-grip wing handles, providing a sturdy and comfortable hold, with the handles shaped and positioned to suit carers of different heights. These handles allow the chair to be easily moved and positioned even when an individual is in a fully reclined position
Four Heavy Duty Large Lockable Castors - Including One Directional Castor
The comes with four heavy-duty lockable castors designed to easily glide over low profile carpets, wooden and vinyl flooring. This includes one directional castor, which when activated allows for more controlled movement.
Padded Seat Chaise Overlay
The benefits from a single, full cover over the whole of the seat. This chaise overlay, which is attached to the seat cushion, reduces the risk of pressure areas developing due to pinch points and shear and friction when the chair reclines. The chaise overlay/seat cover can be removed for cleaning and replacement. Foam Pad Headrest
The comes as standard with a foam pad headrest to ensure the head is supported while still offering comfort.
