Sensory-stimulating chair in waterproof materials
Protac SenSit ® Nature is made of durable, waterproof and windproof material and has taped seams and zippers. This means that the chair is adapted to the Danish weather conditions characterized by frequent shifts between wind, rain, and sunshine, and that it does not have to be carried in and out every day. The chair comes with a rain cover so that the user’s back does not get wet if it has rained at night.
Nature does something incredibly special for our senses. It provides both joy, peace, and energy at the same time, and it has been well documented that outdoor rehabilitation strengthens the physical, mental, and social competencies. Spending time in nature adds an extra dimension to the sensory experience. The wind in your face, scent of flowers and trees, clouds and birds that pass overhead - and last, but not least the fresh air.

- The Nature model can also be used indoors and is particularly relevant where there are strict hygienic requirements or for users who have problems with incontinence. In addition to being cleanable using a spray-cleaner, this model can also be cleaned with e.g., in a shower. The chair's inner bag is made of incontinence cover material, and water can therefore not penetrate the chair.
Like the Protac SenSit® , the Nature model contains 5 cm balls in the back and in the upper layer of the seat. The bottom is filled with granulate, which makes the chair malleable to the individual user’s proportions. The user can advantageously form a recess in the back of the seat before sitting down, for optimal seating comfort.

The children quickly established a cozy space around the Protac SenSit® chair, which was explored and tried out with curiosity by all the children. They found it comfortable to sit in either alone or with their best friend. Even the most restless children calmed down in the chair and enjoyed being cuddled with its wings around them. The chair allowed them to have a gathering place and a steady, safe, base outdoors.
