Large Plastic and Rubber Brood Eggs Hens will usually lay where there's an egg or two so placing fake eggs in the nest box/es will help to encourage them to lay there. The time to get some fake eggs is when pullets are at POL (point of lay) to encourage them to lay in the nest boxes from an early age.
