We use locally sourced natural or deadstock fabrics ensuring that all styles are limited edition. Alex Kneebone is the creative force behind Borromeo (her mother’s maiden name). Armed with a Bachelor of Art and Design majoring in Fashion, plus 20 years of designing clothes—having lived in Japan, London, France, and Colombia and working for small New Zealand fashion labels—Alex draws on her wide breadth of experience and travels to infuse each Borromeo design with a playful yet timeless aesthetic.
