Your chef's knife or santoku is the knife you reach for every day. The gives it the care it deserves. Made one at a time from genuine black cowhide by skilled craftspeople in Japan, it wraps the blade in leather and keeps the edge safe from chips and knocks.

It fits most Shun chef's, santoku, nakiri, kiritsuke and carving knives with blades up to 20cm long. A smooth button fastener, finished in black to match the leather, holds the knife securely in place. The Shun logo is pressed into the leather for a quiet, refined finish.

Slip it on before your knife goes in the drawer, or when you take it out of the kitchen. Presented in a black Shun gift box, it is a lovely way to finish a gift of a new Shun knife. Key features
