Deliciously smooth, textural Pinot Gris made with grapes grown in Hawke's Bay. All grapes were destemmed and fermented in amphora (clay vessels) from Spain with gentle hand plunging followed by 15 days of skin maceration to derive colour and flavoursome depth in the wine. This is a dry yet generous Pinot Gris from the Moutere Valley in Nelson. Fermented with wild yeast and fermented in neutral vessels (70% stainless steel, 30% aged oak). The nose is floral and mineral, with a delicate spiciness. The palate is rich and elegant with ginger and floral notes accentuating the pear fruit flavour.

Q Pinot Gris is a dry, fleshy and full bodied white made with grapes grown in the country's smallest wine region, the Waitaki Valley in North Otago.This chilly valley is like a corridor between the coast north of Oamaru and Omarama in North Otago. Many parts of the valley are full of limestone laden soils, making it highly suitable for high quality wine production.
