Glentauchers 'Thompson Bros' 2013 / 11 years old 54.9%

This expression of Glentauchers has been matured for a full eleven years in a first fill Bourbon Barrel. On the nose there are white grapes, elderflower tonic, hints of cooling menthol, cookie dough and fresh baked brioche. The palate opens up with notes of almond biscuits, honey, waxy and buttery notes and the elderflower tonic makes a return. Handfuls of yellow fruits and buttery notes linger on the finish.
