James Eadie Linkwood 14 Year Old 52.4%

This expression from Linkwood Distillery was matured for fourteen years in a pair of re-charred hogsheads. On the nose there are notes of marzipan, butterscotch, honeysuckle and candied lemon peel. The palate opens up with notes of apple strudel, homemade apricot jam, followed by notes of stewed pears and white grapes. Candied orange peel and rich white chocolate round out the finish.
