Jura 'Second Murderer - Macbeth' 17 years old 48.5%

To portray the Second Murderer, the folk at Elixir have selected a 17 year old heavily peated expresion from Jura. Its remote, wild and untamed nature defines the murderers perfectly. The spirit was matured for 12 years in a parcel of Hogshead casks, before being recasked into Oloroso sherry hogsheads.

There is an oily and gamey nature to the spirit, alongside green herbaceuous notes, dark tannins and sweet notes of seedcake and ground ginger, contrasted with cutting west coast peat smoke.
