Waiheke Whisky 'DYAD II Chardonnay 46%

This realease distilled in 2015 is made from unpeatred New Zealand malt. Double sistilled in copper pot stills and first matured in a refill bourbon barrel. Before bing abed in a french oak chardonnay cask from Mudbrick vineyard on Waiheke Island. A rich and inviting nose leads to a complex palate with notes of umami character. Well balanced with both sugar and lemon notes. A long finish with hints of a nutty, yeasty flavours.
