After this bourbon fully matured, it is finished in a second, special, new oak barrel. This helps further develop the sweet oak flavor. It has spice and pepper notes on the palate with a subtle smoke and milk chocolate note. The finish is warming with chocolate and baking spice notes. Produced at the Heaven Hill distillery for the famous Elijah Craig brand.
