Ballindalloch 2015 Vintage Single Cask #111 60.9%

This Ballindalloch was selected from a single ex-Oloroso sherry butt and destined for the German market, with a just handful offered to us here in New Zealand. The aroma has a distinctive citrus quality, a fragrant note of blood oranges, crepe suzette and a touch of over-ripe strawberries. A rich dryness comes through of pickled walnuts, followed by butterscotch and fruit leather, finishing on a kick of woody spices and a hint of HP sauce (the famously sweet, fruity & savoury brown sauce).
