Sourced from a secret distillery in Speyside, the MacPhail's 12 year old is a very approachable and soft dram, offering flavours of stewed orchard fruits laced with spices, particularly cinnamon and clove. On the palate, the sherry casks bring out a character of milk chocolate and dried fruit, lingering on warm marmalade glaze and a mild, charred-oak finish.
