This is a lively, mouthwatering rosé, where the bouquet follows through seamlessly to the palate, delivering a perfect balance of fruit ripeness and refreshing acidity. A unique combination that simply works—lip-smackingly delicious.

Stonecroft has always been known for this variety and our Old Vine has a loyal following. The Old Vine Gewürztraminer is made with fruit from our oldest vines. We are aiming for a medium sweet style and we look to get at least a small amount of botrytis (noble rot) in the grapes.

2024 was a picture-perfect vintage, allowing long, uninterrupted ripening through summer until picking time in Autumn. We are very happy with this playful take on this eclectic variety.

This Chardonnay is from fruit from both our Roy’s Hill and Mere Road Vineyards. The clones of Chardonnay are Mendoza and Clone 15 which both produce low to moderate yields and rich fruit flavours.

Stonecroft has the oldest Zinfandel vines in New Zealand. The vines were planted in 1993 and originated from Ravenswood in California. Hawke’s Bay is a relatively cool climate, so our Zinfandel is a medium bodied wine. We have just a few rows of Zinfandel at our Roy’s Hill Vineyard.

Grown on loose gravel, these vines weathered the early rain in February to produce intensely flavourful and ripe fruit by the end of the season.
